So, I've been home for a few days break and have been working on this little song. There is a part that is, as of yet, just a drum track and two guitars panned hard left and hard right. Anyway, at this particular part there will be a lead...I've been listening to this part (about a minute or so) repeatedly and playing the prospective lead along with it in order to work out the bugs. So, I've heard this bare part easily a hundred times over the last two days. Strangely, the last time I played along with it, I had to set the guitar down and mumbled, "What the fuck was THAT?". I played the part back and sure enough- there's a strange sound in there. So, I did a quick mixdown and deleted all but the relevant part (it's not done and I don't want anyone hearing it yet). Anyway, if you wait about 3:30 into this, the music will start and at exactly 3:37 there is a strange "hoooo..." voice in the right speaker...it's very pronounced on my studio monitors, but you might need headphones:

Then, I isolated the track, tried to EQ the sound up a bit and looped it (it sure as hell sounds like a human voice):

This was recorded direct (no mic) and I was home all alone when I did it. I can't for the life of me figure out what could have caused this voice in the recording, but I'm a little freaked out. Oh, and needless to say, it's STAYING in the final mix.

I do not know, I am not sure if I am hearing what I am suppose to?  I hear something but it sounds like echoing?  Sounds great.
