This is my personal Christmas. The Sunday of every Memorial Day Weekend I get THREE... THREE races to watch. I start off the day by watching one of the most historic and fabled races in all of Motorsports. The Monaco Grand Prix!
That is followed by *the* most fabled race in Motorsports. The Indy 500!
Then the longest non timed race in Motorsports. The World 600 from Charlotte!
It is about half way through the third race when my wife checks me for a pulse. :supz:

Sounds cool. I myself will be supervising a garage being built. I will "not" be on top the roof supervising. I will be on the ground, I hope. Then I will be grilling for all of us.
-
They're racing this weekend in Loudon, NH, but I opted out this time.
Got a few other things going on. I may try to get the GN ready for the new engine.
-
Okay, it's Sunday Eve and I got the BBQ fired up awaiting 3/4" think rib eyes, sausage links, and asparagus (sp?). Left overs will be turned into a breakfast hash.
Jealous, aren't you!
-
I'd kill for a 3/4" rib eye. Kill dead. :tonqe:
-
Yum....

Tomorrow night a bunch of us have a tailgate party of sorts.
A local radio station puts on a tremendous fireworks display thats synchronized
to the music that they play for almost an hour. Its probably the largest display
in New England. We usually bring the ramp truck with a picknic table on the back
and a BBQ grill. We get set up around 4 in the afternoon and eat and drink like crazy until the fireworks start. Then we hang around smoking stogies and BS
for a while until the traffic thins out (which can take a while). We often get a 100 or so of our friends to show up. Its really cool.

2" thick filet is more of a roast!

Earlier today, Greg told me of the awesome mammal-medley that he cooked up. From that point of the conversation on all communication was in the form of grunts and snorts!
-
Okay, with three races under my belt, and the mammalian medley consumed, I got up this am and started to smoke two racks of ribs. After six hours I put a Polish Keilbasa and about ten Italian sausages on the top rack for two more hours. I have been smoking with soaked mesquite wood. :tonqe:
Mmmmm...
and yes I AM a member of PETA. (People Eating The Animals)

Geez you Californiation s will smoke anything.
-
Funny that there is no mention of copious vodka consumption... .?
-
The Triple V cocktail!
I was appalled having Mexican beer on an American holiday. So I left my friend's house and promptly purchased a case of Natural Light.
Yesterday I worked, Saturday I worked, Friday I worked. Today, I piss my Monday away whilst changing oil and plugs in the GN.
