I haven't been too many concerts...kin da sad, but never really had the time or were near anyplace that had regular concerts.

Anyone remember Vixen? The lead singer went to High School with my Dad's third wife, she called the house one day and I didn't know who I was talking to and somehow the topic of music came up and she asked me what I thought of Vixen...needle ss to say my answer didn't focus on their music.

A funny Journey story. In the last Bass Player magazine they did a story on Randy Jackson from American Idol. For years he was a sought after bassist and played
with many great performers. One of them being Journey. They had a picture of him in 1986 playing on stage with Neal Schon. In the pic Randy had this hillarious looking flat top haircut. I'm still laughing about it. :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Yes, remembered Vixen, Huh, that's cool. Too bad you did not know that you were talking to her. lol I thought that they put on a good show. Alot of us were impressed with them besides all the drama that went on with them. I have heard that she is now works in a dental office. I know Roxie the drummer is living in Racine, WI. or was.
She works in a dental office now? Did she move back to MT? That's where she went to HS with my step mother. She went back for a reunion and she sung a couple of songs (not Vixen material) acapella and it was actually pretty good. I just checked out the band's history on Wiki and was surprised at how often the line-up changed (it's almost as bad as Megadeth), and I was really surprised they were performing in '05.

Yeah, when Vh1 did a show called reunion, she was in a dental office working and she had a child. I thought they said she was living in NY?
First of all, the way Sylvan is with Buckethead was/is the way I am with Journey and Kiss as a child, I was in their fan club and was obsessed with them as a child. ok, now, RR -

I've forgotten more shows than you bitches can claim to have seen....but *most* of them are/were underground/unsigned death bands back when I was in high school/Chicago. That's alot of slashes, huh? I concur with Rawb though- none of us can compte with the list of Racer X (aka El Crapitan). I will point out the repeat-offenders, though:
Fear Factory: 6 times in 5 different states.
Buckethead: 5 times in 3 different states.
Megadeth: 3 times in 2 different states....why do I mention that? Because each time was unintentional (I went for the opener). Once they played with S.T., once with C.O.C. and once with FF.
-
Almost forgot - George Thorogood at the Starlight Plaza in IN followed by a meal at Hooters.
-
I didn't bother to go into all the underground shows I've been to.
Way too many to list. Everything from bluegrass to rap to death metal.
Alot of cover bands too.
-
Same here about the underground bands. There were many in Chicago.
