Obviously, I don't read Ladies Home Journal, but someone pointed out this quote to me from an interview with Valerie Bertinelli that made me laugh. She said that EVH had mouth cancer and they had to cut out part of his tongue and he still refuses to accept that cigarettes had anything to do with it, instead he blames holding a metal pick in his mouth. Sorry, just made me laugh.
-
If you did all the drugs that EVH has done, you'd believe that too. :rofl;

Obviously, I don't read Ladies Home Journal.....
Not what my sources tell me.

Don't worry Lynch, I won't reveal my sources. :cool;

LMAO Karma me, bitch.

I think Valerie is a idiot. She is no angel herself. She was banging guys and doing drugs also while married to Eddie. She even admitted she was banging guys way before Eddie was. Now, she out telling the world how "hard" it was being married to a "rock star" and was doing coke etc. She wants people to feel sorry for her. I am so tired of hearing it and now she is going on shows and magazines talking about it. :rolleyes; As for Eddie, I just think he is a sick man. What he did in the past caught up to him. Like I said, when we saw them in concert this year I was disapointed. Eddie looked sick and the show was not as great as I hoped. But then again Eddie has some major issues. I hope he gets help. Also one last thing, Alex ROCKED like always! :soap:

Way to hit the duck shot, homie! Btw, the federal government reading your thoughts and sending you missions despite your best efferts to block the transmissions by way of wearing an armadillo hat does not count as 'sources'. Take your meds.

Sitting on a beach reading Valerie Bertinelli's book wouldn't make you a fag at all.
Dammit, I'm not talking about a cigarette!

...or a bundle of sticks.

Heard that Eddie was going back to rehab for a few weeks. :rolleyes;

Rehab is ineffective in New Hampshire. :atbeer:

I finally saw them tonight. Here are some of my observations:
Eddie with short blonde hair and dentures resembles JFK.
Wolfgang did OK. They did a couple of comical things and utilized him to the best extent.
DLR didn't do any backflips, but was entertaining nonetheless.
Aside from a couple mistakes in "Pretty Woman", Alex was top notch.
His drum solo was very reminiscent of Ginger Baker's Toad, and very well played.
DLR was off key occasionally and missed a few words here and there. Still
interactive and entertaining.
Eddie was off on a couple of things and spot on on others. He appeared healthy
contrary to other assessments.
They did an excellent rendition of Cream's "Crossroads"
I didn't see the Eddie/Wolfgang thing that a couple of you mentioned. I'm
guessing that they dropped it from the show.
All the key boards were sampled, as well as most of the back up vocals.
That made the show a little cheesy for me.
Overall I liked it and was glad I went, but I don't think they're the same band
they were years ago. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

that's actually pretty good for a band that has been around my entire life...I'm impressed.
-
I agree 100%. I still was disapointed because of all of the goof ups. I think Alex had his shit together and rocked. Glad you "Finally" got to see them.
-
I saw them May 13th and thought they were great...would of given them an 8...DLR was off but thought Eddie was spot on...really liked the big screen and all the close ups of Eddies fret work...not being a musician..my expectations were met..i went there thinking they would be worse....saw them with Sammy a few years back and thought they sucked.....but having seen them ...guessing 20 years ago at giants stadium...thou ght they rocked and would see them again.....can't beat old VH
