Title: Almost lost my tag - "IHADAV8"
Post by: SuperSix on September 19 2007, 09:10:56 PM: Since I don't drive the TR nearly as much as I should, and also because I am the mack-fuckin-daddy of procrastinatio n, I never renewed my tag, since April. :mad:

Well, I was at my buddies slamming a few brews last night, and got home about 11:30. (I live in an apartment)

I pull in, and see a tow truck near the TR, and some dude writing something. I go up to him, and he's putting 24hour tow notices on all the cars that have expired tags.

He was cool, just doing his job. I promptly went inside, cracked a cold Bud Select (good shit!), and dragged out the paperwork. I didn't renew online, because it's been 10 years since I've had that tag, and I needed to re-submit. I of course, did not get the paperwork back in time.

Sooo.. I finally go to the tag office this morning, and tell the guy I want to renew/so whatever I need to do to make the tag legal. He fumbles around for awhile, and mumbles "I think someone has that on hold". Fuck, I think, great - now I am gonna lose the tag. I was eyeing the Bucs tag - 5 letters, I'm thinking "BADV6". :)

He goes to a supervisor, and I guess what happened was that someone has a reserve put on the tag, and when mine lapsed, and then I went past 30 days, they could have it. Fuck! But the good news, is that they didn't respond in time, and I snatched it back! :supz:

Ain't gonna catch this bitch ridin' dirty, my shit's all legal now. ;)

before I had the GN road worthy. One day a friend of
mine with a TTA came up to me saying "You're the one who has that plate !"
He tried to get it for his TTA.
