  • At the end of June 2019 24.5 million people globally were accessing HIV therapy. And 2.3 million people globally newly became infected end of 2018. Numbers are insane compared to what we have for this virus, but we didn't shut down for it.

  • Predictions are 1,600 people in Ontario COULD die by April 30th...and the total so far is 94...but keep in mind that number was from the very start. I'll bet more people in Ontario will get killed in car accidents this month than the virus.

  • Ron..pay no attention to MSM baitclicking headlines. Thy're making a killing off this. Just check the ads...that's revenue for them. They're not stupid. Here's an example. 21 Year Old Dies From Corona Virus. Most just see the headline. If you read it, he had leukimia and his immune system was compromised. Condolences to his family and friends, but the headline was bait click.

  • It is very eerie here. Traffic very light, people working from home or furloughed. People treating this as a vacation. STill congregating in parks and such. Really not helping slow the spread of the virus. I drive so we have a letter from the company to use if stopped but I don't think they are stopping any one. Wife and three daughters furloughed. Son works at Martin Sprocket and he said he was deemed essential. Not sure how long this will go but Dallas County announced yesterday it will go until may 20 and ft worth sez april 30 but that will probably change if these people keep up with the non compliance. I don't think China has a very good handle and could see a coup if they aren't careful. Im not so sure they didn't unleash this virus to slow down the Hong Kong and other dissenters in Wuhan and other places.

  • Steve, Doug Ford is the Premier of Ontario. He has a family business, as far as I know, so he's a businessman. He's stopped contruction for 14 days. Form a business stand popint he won't let it gfo any further than that. I expect he'll reopen evedrything May 1st with social distance stipulations. The sobering fact if we don't resume business May 1st, we're likely gonna go into a world wide depression. People starving to death, especially in third world countries, will outstrip anything this virus will do. March new car sales are down 48%...huge auto sector layoffs will be next. With very few working, the govt's are taking in very little revenue, so they can't keep handing out money. China is now at 95% capacity...let them do it much longer...and they'll be the new world superpower.

My son in law says 2 weeks is okay, but 30 days he may lose his business. He was just here the other day. He was still trying to get the town guy here to look the lot over for the permit.
