Happy belated Easter! Been busy the last few weeks thrashing on the Monte: [link] Currently finishing up LS1 rear discs and adding 6 pot Wilwoods to the front.
RIP Gus Kaspiris-My friend/engine builder in Montral texted me this morning that Gus passed away suddenly last night. He was my age. My condolences to Linda and his daughter and the rest of his family. I had taken Gus' S2 engine to Joe in Montreal to get rebuilt. It was just recently installed in the car but needed more things finished to fire it up. Hopefully myself a few of the other guys can get together and finish it and fire it up for the family.
Autofest Nationals 2024 - The New Location is Elgin Park in Uxbridge where they have the local show each Thursday. It's in my own backyard so I guess I better show up this year!
I would discuss this with the machine shop first. Most don't like the customer to supply the parts. You could recommend a source like Mike Licht, Bill Anderson, Jack Cotton, TA performance or whoever is still around.
