Wow that looks amazing... I'm sure this stuff could easily be made to a strength greater then that for use on the undersides of cars and boats. But why would they want cars that last for ever is how they must look at it.

Is the paint only for fabric or could one spray the whole bottom of there car with it? It would be interesting if a heavy duty version of the product was made!

Hmmm So are these engines at the fault of pushrod old v6 style that we cant run all the way up to fourth gear. Because next year I got a few call outs from some buddies with little Vtec Hondas and a few other small cars that I kind of laughed off. Will the GN win from a 30 mph roll on the highway? Or are these cars only deadly from a Dig? I remember my dad telling me a stories of a stock GN on the highway getting beaten by a stock 5.0 Monte SS back in the day. One thing about the supra is I hear they are torn down very often for rebuild when making any power they shouldn't be making.

The Razor kit is very well designed and was a fairly simple install. I never really got to test its true gains on the track but in terms of detonation with the alky kit on and running I rarely seen any, Unless it was false.

Thanks guys, I really didn't believe the whole be easy on it for 1000 miles thing from the start but its good to get some real world experience on the matter.

I have a roller. The question I forgot to ask is all these tads of info I found make no indications of a turbo motor. Should I leave the boost at 0 psi for the break in.

So .. I've read lots of different things all over the place and most people say a hard break in is the best way to break in a new engine. pulling through the rpm bands in each gear and then motor breaking the car back down to speed. repeating this process at least 9 times. Changing the oil and off you go? I guess the reason for the hard break in is to seat the pistons rings properly as a soft break in at constant rpms will make the rings seat wrong and the engine will have blow by until you need to rebuild it next season from a shity break in.

I want to know what you guys think.

What are you even talking about buddy get out of here honestly..  This thread was just my curiosity of a game to how these cars would really be on a track.. Why do you act like such a dick about everything.

So stop acting so silly and have some fun.. maybe you need a beer and a few hours with a fun racing game.

In stock form? Not likely
.... blah blah blah

At stock boost and timing- I would guess so. Seems to me like the kind of crap they put the cars thru at the proving grounds....
( purple font by request of SW-nostalgia)

My dad was telling me they would put cars in big freezers and freeze the cars until they where almost to the point where the oil was solid .. Start them up with out a warmup and do the 1/4mile as hard as they could... lol. This is in more recent times , I'm unsure if they did this with the GN's in the 80's

I'm not interested in making a pro touring car I was just wondering after I played Froza 4 on the Xbox and beat on a Buick for three laps with my buddy and his Fox body. I wondered how this would be in real life if a turbo Buick could really handle 3 hard laps around a track because I've heard guys talk about knock at the end of the 1/4mile. I guess the tune would be a lot different, Maybe a 6 speed automatic would help too.

I didn't quite mean laps, that was just for a interesting title its more like. Can the car handle pulling up to its max speed in forth gear giving you had the distance to do so safe.

I was told that these cars can not handle WOT in fourth gear due to the increased load on the bearing? Can these cars handle anything more then a 1/4mile blast? Like lets say in terms of a highway roll maybe from a 40 mph wouldn't you need the fourth gear? Or is this only true when the lockup engages and try's to lower the RPM at WOT? I'm not sure if I'm making sense with this question but maybe someone will know.
