Turbo Lou called today and told me to "come get your shit... car is done... problem fixed....
That was the actual message.

I spoke with him later and he said that the cam bearings were good. ( I will ask about the turbo tomorrow)

He said he put the car back together and took it out for a spin and got some wierd knock.... (yah sounds familiar!)

So he changed the chip to one of his and it seemed to go away.  He also changed the knock sensor for shits and giggles.  So I hope he actually fixed the knock issue...
But you never know....  :jerkit;

Game set match! I trust, since you're near to him, you'll make his life hell if he bails out on us again.

So you haven't picked it up yet, Phil? Obviously I hope for your sake that when you do you're thrilled with it. Remind me, what kind of chip did you have in the first place? And what it it now?

I want to know your chip too. Ask Lou about what boost and timing you're using and at what gears.

I picked it up today... the engine sounds healthier.

I drove it and am still getting 4-5 degrees of knock on the shift points.  I havnt realing layed into it yet on a straight-a-way so we'll see.
Lou said it was runniing fine... so um ok

Chip is 18 degrees timing and thats about all I know.  Boost is jsut tipping 15 lbs but is slow to spool...  I was watching bls on freeway and they were looooow... 100-110ish.

I still need to replace my retarded o2 sensor with a denso.

at least it runs again and I can get to school!

Shift points sound like a downpipe hitting the frame or motor/tranny mounts.

I dont know... There's no marks to show them hitting... and the morot mounts are goood and teh tranny mounts "should" be good...

To tell you guys the truth the car still doesnt feel fast or quick at all... granite I'm only at 15 lbs but it still doesnt feel like a 14 second car...
