Oil pressure sensor

Ok this is the second one that has felled At $7.00 is cheap but the last one cost $200 Tow home from the track. Just oiled down the staging lane.what should I do to stop this madness?

either install a mechanical gauge or buy a different brand

Where are you getting a $7 sender? The wrecking yard? I got an acdelco(probably a knock off) off the eBay and I'm pretty sure I paid more than that. I run a brass street tee with the stock sender and the gauge tubing.

I have a mechanical gauge
But in Hawaii I have one choice and Napa dose not stock and $20 shipping for there’s
I’d like to take it out and hook the two wires to the fuel pump relay together

My fuel relay is good ,but It provides backup for fuel pump if the relay fails, correct

It does provide a back up circuit if the relay goes bad.  I have not had one on either of my two buicks in the last 20 years, or more.  I think I replaced the relay just for the heck of it a few years back on both cars as a precaution.

Where is yours? I believe it is on the pass inner fender beside some other things. Maybe I've forgotten.

While you are at it, Tim, convert all the relays to standard relays so we only need one spare :D

I have recently been burned by some really sh*tty aftermarket relays, tabs coming off etc.
-Drain plug by Earl Brown, custom oil pan by Rich's Auto

the ones in a box from GM have a smaller box inside that says made in China.  I suspect you can find some quality units from Germany, or elsewhere
