WTB: Up-pipe for stock throttle body
« on: July 16 2017, 03:33:44 PM »
Decided to finally start working on the GN, and somehow, the uninstalled up-pipe that I had got full of water, and is all rusty inside.

Anyone have  a stock or aftermarket up pipe they want to part with?

I suppose I could stabilize the rust...   :hmm

Changed my mind -  the rusty chrome up pipe I have matches the MAF pipe, I will just treat the rust.

Thanks, though - as I try to get this project done, I know I will be missing many parts.

Ain't that the truth. The Mrs surprised me recently by really admiring a pickup that was done up
in a faux rusty / fading finish. I could have saved lots of money by just giving her the real thing :)

The rust s on the inside...

I bought some Rustoleum rust converter - it worked great, used some steel wool to get rid of some rust specks on the outside..
