and that is why converter slip does not work-the switches appear to be bad in the valvebody

I dont know what to think. just put everything back together and went for a ride , first hit it didnt make the noise, on the next ones it does. I cleaned my plugs yesterday and maybe after the first run they get to hot and start misfiring, the noise sure sounds like its coming from the motor. I am getting scared to run it.

the switches you need are part number 8683502

If they don't go open when you're in gear you won't have lockup at all.  CS% will never read 9

I am assuming that 85 wiring is the same as 87, if so could it be a wiring problem being that both are not working, and who keeps these switches in stock

Dave Husek has them.   I priced them out at my local dealership a few months ago and almost passed out at how much more they wanted.

would the senders not working effect the way the trans is working, or is it just to let the ECM know what gear it in?

If they can't tell the ECM you're in 3rd and/or 4th the ECM won't know to lock up the converter.

Plus if you have a chip that scales back timing in higher gears it won't know either.

I met with my trans guy and was telling him what was going on, and he started looking up parts ( the switches) and he said that there are two different part # and one is discontinued and the other is the one that yall gave, I dont know if he was able to the specs on brf. now my question is, without dropping the pan to find out if the switches are the same for both gears. could someone tell me. same part number for both 3&4 gear

Yes, the 8683502 will work in both slots. It's the 'updated' part number.  I'm current running a pair on my BRF transmission.
