Nice run on the vid! Keep pecking away at the tune by trial and error is all you can really do.

I've test fit the downpipe and everything clears after welding. I got the o2 bung welded in, it's closer to the turbo than I wanted but it'll work. Next step is loosen up the bumper cover and mark/drill. I tested on some of the cover I cut away last year and it came out good. Hopefully it'll be the same when I drill the actual hole!
I feel like captain slow, but I'm still plugging away.
Slow is safe and safe is fast!

Always good to have an extra set of eyes and hands when doing hot rod stuff! I can tell you that sometimes you’ll get a little frustrated with those little set of hands but those hands won’t stay little for long. Enjoy it! Savor it!

I like Russ and Mellissa, they are some great folks. Probably some of the best if not THE best in the community but I’m sure “bottom line” didn’t tune or travel for free.
ummmm never "assume"  :cool;
I can’t say I assume much. What I am guilty of is trusting people easily. That usually turns into disappointment and frustration.

My apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread. Not another word on the subject from me

He used to always be surrounded by a "posse", I have heard because he was afraid someone would kick his ass.  They tell me he is a good tuner and Gumpy's son in law likes him...differen ce is that I would trust Grumpy's son in law (Russ) but I would never trust the guy in question.

I think it is the guys that don't know much that always get the shaft by these clowns.  They know better than to screw over someone that is well known and respected
He’s still surrounded by his posse.  Calls BG his personal atm machine. Has an ego the size of the planet. Say anything about him and they are on you like flies on sh*t.  It doesn’t change the fact that he lies and none of his posse will believe a word you, the outsider, has to say. He may be considered a good tuner by some but word on the street is that everyone that has left him is now going faster to include his best friend. That had to hurt. I personally know of one vendor that hasn’t spent a dime with him since last years little tent fiasco at BG. I make my assessments based on a persons actions. You may fool me once but never again. And I don’t forget, especially when you lie about the situation.

It’s quite prevalent when it comes to who’s riding whose bus. They break your balls when you say anything. I break Hartline’s balls every chance he gives me on FB. Now he’s blocked me. No worries. My new name for his business is “Bottom Line” performance. He may have had heart at one time but not so much anymore.  Now it’s all about how much money he can dupe you out of.

Shifter is mounted in the car. Need to adjust the cable and hook up the p/n and reverse switches. I'm already not sure if I like this pro-ratchet shifter....but it's what I have so I'm going rock it for now.

Another thing off the list.
Probably works better at the track than a column shift car.  Keep doing it because you’re all I got to watch with all these hours I’m having to work

Wire the puck open and drive it. See how much boost builds with the puck wired open. If it’s above 10 psi, you need to open up the hole.  Helps to blend the turn to the waste gate hole as well. My 6262 with a .63 housing did the same thing when I first installed it.

Next time you swap bushings on a Regal, take some pictures along the way and describe how you lifted the body, etc.  I have not seen a good write up on doing it and it would be nice to put a page on my site.  I suspect most cars out there would benefit from it.

Nice times!  You have come a long way and had a few trials and tribulations along the way!
Those bushings were supposed to be for the Phoenix but plans changed. I will definitely do pics and a write up on the next one. I will say this, body rose almost 1/2 inch with the new bushings. Where there was almost no gap between the body and the frame at the rear tire well, now you can almost fit a finger in between. Doors seem to close better too.

Yes sir we’ve come along nicely. Been fun for the most part. Been educational. Been burned with vendors and individuals but found some really decent business folks too. Met some really nice folks and one complete jerk. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing and going to keep doing it till I know longer can or just stop finding joy in doing it.

Welcome to the 10's club!   Nice run!  What boost and timing were you running?
Thanks!  The 10.98 @ 125.98 mph was at BG 2017. 93 and alky 21 psi locking the converter at 90 mph. I’d have to look but I think I had 20-21 in the timing. I still had the SD2 in the car then.

The 1.501 60 foot, 104.77 mph @ 6.75 was at XRP a few months back maybe 6 months. Rich was there. Same night that somebody blew a head gasket. I’m always working the tune and learning while keeping the boost at somewhat performance levels. I hope to have a few more of my obstacles tackled and will be able to lay down some better numbers next weekend at XRP.
