Psychology trick
« on: March 04 2005, 11:26:54 PM »
This doesn't work so well over the internet...but IRL it has worked about 99% of the time I've tried it on people.

Alright, answer the falling questions out loud (even if that means you have to talk to yourself).

1+5?
5+1?
2+4?
4+2?
3+3?
Name a vegetable.

Now post what vegetable you named then come back and look farther down this thread to see what vegetable I posted.

Carrot.

It may or may not work via the net, but I would 99% guarantee that it works IRL.

This reminds me of a card trick a nun taught me when I was a little kid. Take all of the jacks, queens, kings and aces out of the deck and set everything else aside. Sort all of them in the order of jack, queen, king, ace in thier proper suit, thereby creating four little piles. Then, take those four piles and combine them into one stack and place it face down. Now, cut the deck as many times as you like (traditional cut, nothing exotic). Then, deal them out into four new piles (face down), dealing as follows: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right until you have four piles of four cards...flip them over and you'll have a pile of jacks, a pile of queens and so on.

Tomato...isn't that a fruit, technically...

 :pimp:

Here's a good trick to make someone cry...Find a very emotionally "soft" person and tell them they will never amount to anything..

Wait...That's mean..

I got nothing!...

Yeah, tomato's a fruit....I don't do well under pressure.

You're a mean bastard. How about switching the medications around at a retirement home?

carrot.....but I think it's because I did that trick about fifteen years ago and I picked carrot then. Good memory.......o r bad brain......you decide. I bet if I do it again in fifteen years, I'll pick carrot again. I like fuckin' carrots ALRIGHT! There I said it. It's like a huge weight has been lifted off me. I like carrots and I'm not afraid to admit it. My wife's an artist. She picked broccoli. Fuckin' artists. :butthead:
