Thanks Kirbans!
« on: March 30 2006, 04:38:01 AM »
Thanks to Kirbans newsletter I'm richer! He wrote a month or so ago about a quarter thats worth money. Since then I've found two of them. One with the leaf up and the other with the leaf down. The Wisconsin quarter has 3 different stamps.

I guess theres 5000 from what I've researched. 3000 have an extra leaf that bends down and 2000 where the extra leaf goes straight up. I found them both at work. How rich am I?!?!?!?

I'll have to look, I've been saving the stat quarters since they came out.
I've also heard something about the Pennsylvania quarters having a
mispelling issue.

The low leaf ones don't seem to fetch much as I've
found in eBay auction #8402265120
It seems the uncirculated 3 pc. sets are where the money is.

So... did you actually learn something from the newsletter?
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

Dennis is a cool shit. I exchange e-mails
with him from time to time. If you send him an e-mail,
he always replies to them. I read the whole newsletter too.

I checked through some of my quarters tonigh, but I didn't
find any of the error ones. They said most of them were released in the
Tuscon area, so it's not likely that I'd hyave one anyways.
But, it doesn't hurt to check.
I figure that I probably have about $250 worth of state quarters.

Maybe the westside is the best side?

Something about the Pennsilvania quarter in mint condition is worth big bucks. If I find another quarter I send it to you RR. Only if you add it to your collection and not sell it. :atbeer:

Deal !

I went looking for the info on the Pennsylvania quarter, but couldn't
find it. From what I remember they had spelled "Pennsylvania" wrong
when they made it. Its supposed to be extremely rare!
