These were actually supposed to go on my roof mounted solar hot top/house heater (that you can see from space :) ) until I realized they are perfect for data logging on my GN.

Self conatined harness with an easy 4 wire hookup. If using a powerlogger all four wires go to the aux block. (+, -, temp1, temp2)

If using it freestanding, it's hot, ground, and whatever voltage display you want. If it's a racecar this harness can be powered with a 9 volt battery for months.

It's reads to .1* accurate to +/-1*. in either (F)ahrenheit or (C)anadian. I'll send you the .ini mods to get get them to read like in the powerlogger screengrab below.

This harness can allow you to do groovy stuff like this...

I built this as a back up for my 4.1 build. It's complete with match ported gaskets installed and a custom SS bolt kit for the cover, filter adapter, water pump and pump pulley (even the timing tab bolt and the bottom studs for the intercooler/alt wire mounts).

Comes complete with gaskets, cam sensor O-ring, new rubber front seal and ready to install out of the box.

$475 with the bolts and $400 without +$20 for shipping....

or if you just want the bolt kit for $100 shipped, let me know. (It will work with both 14 and 20 bolt covers).

Looks like this installed...

General Buick Tech / FU$&*ING idiot Volt light.....

Damn thing ended up with an iffy connection on the way to my parents house tonight. I noticed it turned over a little slow and was down to 8.5 volts by the time I got to the road.

Nothing like removing that panel using an old ass pair of wire bending pliers just to wiggle that damn bulb.

To top it off, when it finally busted off from jump starting it with a 45A alternator my damn chip's "theft BS setting" reset itself and killed it.

........and on the way home the commander's theft proof setting's page blew out the window.

I might have to make another "how-to" post. Although I'd rather find the dumbass that designed that circuit and make a snuff film.

It's a 3" Random Technologys cat with a Buick flange welded on one side and a 3 bolt collector flange on the other. It has about 15 miles on it. (house to emissions facility bank to the house).

Since I don't have emissions testing here, I don't need a working cat to hold my door open :)

It wasn't even restricting my flow. I only lost 1 pound at idle (as read by my sealed liquid rail gauge, so it's within the SWAG)

I do believe I have my supra pump/hanger mods/ground mods sorted out!

Needless to say I still have some fine rust in my tank and now my fuel filter has a couple super magnets on the outside :)

General Buick Tech / boost .vs CR

found this link posted on one of my boat boards. It's odd how he says low CR with more boost is better, but the math verifies why I like my higher CR with less boost.

I just installed a ground jumper from the engine to the frame and my fuel pressure jumped from 45 to 52.
When I re-engineered my fuel pump to a Supra with big ass power lines I grounded it at the rear bumper shock as a kicker to the stock ground line.

I knew there was something I was forgetting to do :)

The caption above this picture was "Pretty sure my pump will never be starved for voltage"......     It will be if the damn frame isn't a ground!

I turned on my road yesterday and rolled the the throttle a couple times just to have the car fall on it's face.
Then after drinking beer and watching pornography all day I remembered the couch laptop had some autosaves.
The injectors are still squirting, the MAF is acting normal, but the O2 is dropping to nothing.
