Oh, and JA isn't about inner city kids or disadvantaged kids (at least not when I was involved), it was for kids with good gpa's that would be future leaders in business. E.g. owners, managers...kin da a preppy thing where you dress in slacks and wear ties.

Your right too TT, although JA was short for me i still talk about it to this day. I was bright eyed and bushy tailed when i signed up, excited! Im still proud i was a part of it and encourage any kid to get involved.

JA was a step I wasnt ready for as i was a couple years younger and didnt drive but I learned real quick about the effects of being late or missing even. My failure at JA made me a great employee for the rest of my life. I'm very dependable. Except for last week ugh. Honestly, 25 years later I still appear to work with JA standards.

It's weird to think but in 1000 years these cars will still be around and probably worth half a mil.

Look at how we see cars from 100 years ago. Crickity ass wooden spoked wheels chugging along at a snails pace using exhaust to fire a horn. And that's after you crank it...with a crank!

I just checked and I used to bike 2.1 miles to JA.

Got fired my second week for being 5 minutes late.
Super strict.

My short time there led to great things after i got through a dangerous jungle.

That's it! I'm getting on the impeach Trump train! He's making christmas so great but didn't have the foresight that logistics would be so backed up, even with TONS of overtime being worked, that it would take 5 days to receive my priority package from Ohio.

I hope the USPS workers enjoy spending their grossly fat checks after all their hard work pays off. Meanwhile my Xbox sits without a cooling fan. Waa! Merry Trumpmas THAT!

I remember a few years a go a friend was so happy to find a NOS  A212CW air filter for his big block Camaro.  Installed drove and flatbeded home. All the paper in the element go sucked down the carb.  Some items don't age well

maaan, that sucks. Makes me think about nos bumper fillers. I swore someone stole mine on my drive back from Vegas, come to find out I left pieces across 6 states.

It's a two way street. If D is allowed his side, J is allowed his. But D decided Js side wasn't allowed. THAT'S my problem.

Like I said on facebook, maybe J is the dutchie but D went about it wrong.

It was hard for me to post that last night, I promise I just wanted to let this go. It's frickin christmas and around this time I get very soft, like a sissy or maybe a huggybear?

Cuz right now christmas is in full effect and TurboCajun, my present to you is, it's all good. The situation is sorted out. No hard feelings toward you especially since you stuck your neck out defending a story you probably don't remember filled in inaccurately by the group, hell, I had to go look myself to make sure I was honest about the name calling.

Got lost for a second.

I love opinions on clones and nos and restoration, aftermarket. I haaaate clones, to me they take away the mystique. I wonder how it feels to have to say 'it's a clone' knowing your bout to totally disappoint someone.

I applaude reproduction stuff and the effort people have put into manufacturing high quality replacement parts. I have helped those companies grow through the years, many of us have. We have all financed that stuff and the companies spent the money making more stuff. The guys in the future gunna have it easy.
