I'm curious. I had a hard time taking off my oil pan because it was hung up on the pickup tube. I've had several engines and never had the problem before. Anyway, I had to let the pan dangle while I reached in and removed the tube. I happen to have four pickup tubes which I have collected over the years and when I put them side-by-side, they were different lenghts. The one that I got hung up on was a good 1/2" shorter than the others. They also have very different looking bottom screen sections. As far as I know, they are all off of '86 and '87 turbo regals.

Melling book only shows one for our 86-87 turbo motor. pn# 201-1S2
Different year and models use other pn#'s, they vary by 3/4" in length.
I would throw them all out and get the correct one.

I noticed the aftermarket have a 3/4" wide thin metal strip across the bottom & the GM have the little round flap that opens when its clogged up. I can't really see under that 3/4" wide strip of metal to see what it has for a plan B but now I will see if they are the same length? I know I have 2-3 here at least.
