I wonder how much cheaper cars would be if they left all this crap out and did it the old fashioned way?

Do we really need a complicated interlock to keep it from going out of Park if the brake light fuse is blown.  Why not just put a flashing red light that says No Brake Lights?

It is to protect me form you? This stuff is getting out of hand I will say that.

I have seen people drive around for a month with the ses light flashing whats the diff if it says brakes?  At least it will not be you or your family smashing into the back of them and then saying did you not see my brake lights. Naturally the fuse will blow when the lights short hence prove they did not work.

Heck I have been told to go and #%@$#@ after politely letting someone know they have no lights on the rear of their vehicle.

So now we need lockouts for all the people that do not care about themselves or you and I.

all you have to do is turn the key one click, pull it into neutral and then start the car...then you can drive it all you want...

You cannot legislate common sense and safety anymore than you can legislate sin.

The average person under 45 does not understand enuf about cars to be allowed to drive, anyway

That Prius commercial makes me want to stuff the inside of one with about 500 lbs of some nice high velocity stuff and see what I have that shoots fast enuf to set it off.
Prius: funny cars for funny people. Count me in for Prius detonation.

The decline of American Society began with the ban on cherry bombs....I wish I had a couple of thousand freshly made stored away on my sofa along with my ammo

Got to love it when the problem goes away and you are not sure what you fixed....or if you fixed anything
