I figure in the three months he would have (before he is impeached, drawn and quartered) he would screw the liberals up so much that no one would ever vote for one again.

Long term victory over short term gains is the way to go.

Political meanderings continue....

Can the world's financial markets be manipulated by a few wealthy individuals\corporations\political factions for political gain? Are there safeguards in place to prevent such manipulations?

Does the mass media have more power than the government and corporations? Who acts as a check and balance for the mass media?

Are fat British guys allowed in this country without restrictions?

Is Boo Rock Oh Bomb A a manipulator who uses people (Rev Wright, Colin Powell) when they are useful, and drops them when they are not(Rev Wright, Bill Ayers)? Does this make him an agent for change or a typical politician?

he is a political chameleon.  We have no idea as to what he really believes about any subject.  He may be an empty shell totally devoid of original thought, a puppet on Al Mansour's strings, an opportunistic, cold blooded do whatever it takes to force his "conformity" upon the masses manipulator, etc.....but, one thing is for sure, he is neither a messiah, nor an agent of change....inst ead, he is a classical throwback to the old days where the people were told what they wanted to hear while be totally ignored in the grander scheme of things.....

Somehow, I think George Soros and his fellow travellers are gonna make a lot of money out of this debacle.

None of that surprises me. In the last few years, we've had an influx of refugees from Massachusetts trying to flea from the over taxation and bureacracy.
The problem is that when they get here they vote for the same type of idiots that created the mess that they were in. The outlook for NH is grim to say the least.
The Democrats practically own the state now. But there is hope...

More political meanderings...

POLLS OR PROPAGANDA????

Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Polls

McCain vs Obama 10/23/08

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081023/ts_nm/us_usa_politics_poll

*******************************************************************************************

Clinton vs Obama (New Hampshire Primary) 1/07/08

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/nh/new_hampshire_democratic_primary-194.html

*******************************************************************************************
Note the Numbers of the New Hampshire Primary

+13 Obama

Actual Results

+2.6 Clinton

The new poll gives Obama almost the same lead over McCain as he had over Clinton.

The new AP poll has the race almost a dead heat. Something to ponder.

Americans are spoiled babies who've been taught/allowed to believe that America is the Land Of Entitlement rather that that of Oportunity. Some real hardship would likely foster a stronger sense of responsiblity (as it pertains to voting) rather than the MTV sense. There should be criteria beyond mere age to qualify one to vote. An 18 year old who thinks that Eli Whitney invented the Sloe Gin Fizz should not be permitted to vote. Sorry.

Ok, I was going to open a new thread about this but, within the last two weeks my oldest, (who is 8, and in 3rd grade) has been telling me that they are learning at school about Voting. (ok, fine in my op.) Anyway, my daughter has been telling me that at recess, the kids are all talking about this election and who they should vote for. The school is going to have a election and the kids at the school are going to have ballots etc.

West Virginia has 1 vote in the bag (at least) for Bob Barr.

The choices of a fake Republican and a real Socialist didn't appeal to me.

I ended up voting for the fake Republican. I hate the real socialist more than I dislike the fake Republican.
