Title: Host move in process
Post by: SuperSix on January 24 2012, 12:01:39 PM: I am well aware of the speed issues with our current web host.

I have a new web host ready to go, but I am having issues with the database transfer. I am working on getting it resolved. once I do, after a short downtime - we will be on a much faster server.

I have been with my current web host for almost 10 years, and they won't do shit to help us.

I am still getting shit straightened out - there's a PHP setup issue with the new host, i have a ticket in with them to see if they can fix it.

You can change themes here. I had to force everyone back to the default skin for the move.

I installed a new one called "Night sky" (Which caused me to blow up the DB last night) you can eval it buy going to the Look and Layout portion of your user account settings.

That's on them - it's almost 1gb in size. Kinda like the GNS Performance banner - that one is over 2gb. :O

Once it caches, it shouldn't take as long, depending on your browser.

THANK YOU!!! Everything seems to working great now Mark. Now that I know Sotts banner is that big I might be able to talk him into changing it. Nelly did it for him which explanes a lot. :O
