After driving 1400 trouble free miles from Florida to Canada, my car died while I was going about 65 mph. Got it home and found that the 15 amp fuse for the fuel pump/injectors was blown. I replaced the fuse and it blew again.
Any help as to what I should look at??
I have checked the injector wiring harness and tested the fp connections in the trunk. Wiring harness is not worn and there is no power to the pump.
Could the ecm cause this type of thing?
Is it definitely a short somewhere?
I am thinking of running a wire directly from the positive on the battery to the fp in the tank, just to make sure it will run.
