Cruising the Coast (CTC) http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/ Is a week long car show across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Thousands of cars from across the country show up to show off. Every car that you can think of will be here...if you can find your favorite car or not is another story.

It runs a week long in the first week of October (Monday 1st- Sunday 7th) The days you want to be here are Oct 5,6,7th because Fri and Sat nights are crazy!

I called my work (Beau Rivage) for room rates. I can have 3 rooms at a discount. Friday and Sat night will run $129. http://www.beaurivage.com/

Remember, you should book now just to reserve a room...you can always cancel if your not going to come. And of course y'all can stay with me but I dont know what my living conditions will be by then. I'll probably have something figured out by then but you never know and I dont want to take chances. Also, camping on the island is an option. I just need to find a boat, not likely.

I plan on taking vacation for a few days...again, as always, theres a chance I'll have to work. I'm batting 1000 for the past 5 years of requested days off so I hope my winning streak continues! If I have to work...you wont get me in trouble if you play with me.

As far as me hanging out at my work, not a problem, I just cant play table games. But, I dont want to drink at my work so partying there is out of the question for me.

If you book at the Beau you'll have a choice of ocean view or city view. Ocean view is wide open...no obsticles...al l ocean and a couple of islands. City view is deceptive, it's more like a small town view. You'll get a good view IMHO. You'll see a little distruction BUT you'll get to open your curtains and look at a few cars from up above. In front of the Beau isnt the hot spot but you'll still see some cars. The third floor of the parking garage will be full of hot cars too.

The hotest spot is about 1-2 miles west of the Beau. I live about 10 minutes from the Beau. But I dont know where I'll live in a few months. The land purchase is at a stand still.

I'll crash at your pad, it's usually where the debauchery ends up. A spot like that hotel is begging for a flaming couch over a balcony or something.
