You know a common thread among the new members is that the tech section here is lacking.  So was TBS's, T6P, TB, and ALL the other Buick Bulletin Boards when they first started.  You want a good tech section, start asking tech questions and they will get answered and stored and then there will be a good tech section. There more than enough people that can answer those questions posting here now.

Bulletin Boards are owned by individuals (and now conglomerates) but the content is largely based upon the input of the posting members.  Mark has made it very clear what this board is here for... YOU the posting members and this board will be exactly what the posting members make it.   :cool;

Our vendors tend to be poor marketers. Few promotions, sales or new announcements.
Doubt the banner clicks bring much fresh business.

That is true.

Most don't think they need to with the pocket audience.

NOS4GN is decent, but overall you hit the nail on the head.
