The trans is next in line as well. I may have an opportunity to ride with some guys up to Janis for a weekend. We'll see. I'm making significant progress though and intend to keep you guys posted. I WILL drive this car and get the inspection done before the summer is out.

I'll get it figured out. I appreciate the input for sure. I'm getting the downpipe dropped off tomorrow to get it straightened out, and then I can get the exhaust hooked up. So much to do.

My original stock return was beat to hell and I refuse to buy another stock return. Aesthetically it just didn't fit my build. I'll address this issue after I take care of some other things. I got my Wideband installed last night so now my dash is officially complete(after I calibrate my speedo). I'm making a little progress.

Those RJC gaskets are really nice. I might try those actually after the retorque

The turbo drain line is definitely leaking. That's my next hurdle to clear up. Smh. I switched over to studs which makes the job a little easier but the leak is still present. The drain hose I'm certain I can address.

In that case I wont use that stuff until after the required retorque of the heads Lol. Thank you for the advice! I got the tranny cooler mounted and wired up. No leaks, so I'm happy about that. I'm a little bummed out about my shifter cable and I'm having to shift the gears through the column again. I guess I'll order another one

I have an oil leak on the rear driver's side valve cover that's driving me crazy. I'm running the good felpros everyone recommended but maybe I didnt torque the bolts properly? Idk. Anywho, my goal is to get the car driving under normal conditions before I get the tranny work done. I don't plan on running it hard anyway the first few oil changes so my rebuilt stock tranny will be ok for now. I have to put the hood back on as well. Once I find an ideal place to mount this remote cooler, I'll see about getting a video of the first drive. I have to so much to do it seems as the new exhaust I bought for it needs to get buttoned up. The list continues

I refuse to start a new topic! Lol. Hey guys, it's been forever since I've posted and I just wanted to catch you all up on what's going on. The car is in the air now due to the tranny fluid drain and gasket/filter change. Next, new tranny lines to a remote cooler with a fan and thermostat. I have everything to do it, and it should be done by week's end. The car idles amazingly smooth. I can't wait to get the exhaust buttoned up so I can hear it idle through the new stainless steel exhaust. I hope everyone is living the dream and staying healthy as possible. I'll do a better job at keeping you updated on this project.
