General Auto Tech / GM Truck Brake recall

The recall covers the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from the 2014 through 2018 model years. Also included are the Cadillac Escalade from 2015 to 2017, and the GMC Yukon and Chevy Suburban and Tahoe from 2015 through 2018.
GM says that as it ages, the pump in the power-assist brakes can put out less vacuum power than needed, increasing stopping distance and the risk of a crash.
The company is recalling 3.46 million vehicles in the U.S., and it recalled another 310,000 in Canada back in June. GM said global numbers for the recall weren’t available.

So Cruz appears to have a teflon rocker gasket.I don't recall seeing many teflon gaskets generally and IIRC a property of teflon is that it creeps,IE: deforms over time.I wonder how these will hold up.

Additive is optional for these, bit like an eaton all that does is reduce noise in low speed corners. Run just the oil. If it pops and squeaks the add the other stuff.

Such a nice man, we wish Paul great success!!!...
.Well it's official... I have taken on the Buick GS Club of America, which so far is a LOT more time/effort/expense than I figured it would be. There was an article in the SPRING issue of the GSX-tra newsletter letting people know about it, and a follow-up article with more details in this current (SUMMER) issue too. We created a NEW website: www.BUICKGSCA.org (Make sure to use the .ORG at the end) where people can finally renew or join the club easily and safely online too. It's kinda basic for now, but is correct & functions good. We will add more pictures & pages as time allows. I got some high hopes for the club, and plan to do as much for the members as I can & give a LOT back if it grows like I think it will. Hope you all get to be a part of it!

How often have you guys found these to die?First one for me.
I have/had a no start condition and the MAL code was 15. Sensor is definitely bad, just hard for me to grok how it can cause a no-start?
