Anyone had a vehicle they sold...but wish they'd kept it? If so...what was it?
-
I regret totalling my 67 Lemans, does that count?
-
70 Camaro SS RS
-
Nope. But there is a part I want back: the L89 396 I sold to buy my Buick. It should have gone into my MCSS as I had originally planned.

-
'23 T-Bucket. One should never sell a car that wheelies.
In fact, I'm gearing up to build two of them soon.
-

Black 70 Charger RT 440 6-Pack (V code).
Orange 71 Roadrunner 383 4-speed with a pistol grip and air grabber.
-
Yes, 1978 Pontiac Trans AM that I traded along with some cash for my T-Type.
-
I have my first car, 1970 GS455 and my first new car, 1987 WE4 so no, I don't regret any of the others or I would have kept them. Funny thing is the GS was fifteen yrs old when I bought it in 85. The T I've had for just over thirty yrs. They are both beaters but they are my beaters and I like em.
-
How about the 1 you should have bought?
For me it was a 63 split window fuel injected 4 speed vette. I passed on it for 2795 C and paid 2995 C for a 70 duster 340.
-
Honestly...
My '82 Honda CIVIC. It was a work horse that never failed me.
My '82 Ford Bronco. Of the 15 cars and trucks I had in high school that was my favorite...it wasn't the fastest, but we had the most fun in it.
Other than that, nope...didn't really ever have a car worth a crap until I got the GN and I still have it after close to 20 years now.
-
81 S10 - Too many memories and great stories that went along with that truck. Gave it to my sister when I joined the military. She promptly traded it
83 Datsun 280Z with T tops - bought off a soldier for $300 bones because it wouldn't go into any gear. Promptly installed a new clutch and was on the road. Tore up many a leg with that car while stationed at Bragg. Made many trips up to Duke university and down to myrtle beach in that car
87 white TR - first Buick. Although I got the limited out of the deal, the fella promptly blew a head gasket and the car is still sitting

That is beyond bad! I wouldn't even post that! I guess it could have been worse if you passed on a Shelby Cobra 427.

I was in the process of buying a 427 Cobra in 1972. Day before I was suppose to pick it up my 70 Mustang Cobra Jet car was stolen. Got pissed off an passed on the Cobra. Fast forward...Boug ht the same car in 1976 for lots more $$$$. :icon_redface:

I didn't buy a '68 Camaro (back in highschool days) for $400-$800 because it had a noisy throwout bearing....

You have had some nice wheels! Do you have any pictures of the Cobra?
-
pics were to big... ill be back later :)

I bought a 2010 Camaro SS (LS3/6 speed manual) from Al Unser the 3rd. Took that bitch to the cutout of 155. Lost my discount with Progressive's plugin device, but so worth it. God I miss that car.
-
I've regretted most vehicles that I let go of. Most recently a built '94 Trans Am that I traded for an '85 Silverado 454, but I've always wanted and old squarebody. I miss letting go of my '10 Camaro SS too. Both GNs are forever in my happy memories, but the first the most.
True regret has been every time I got rid of a truck for a car. Always a stupid idea to not own a truck.
-
Finally figured out posting pics, DUH :icon_redface: Original 65 427 Cobra.
-
Now that is NICE!
-
I miss my 97' Mustang cobra. It was a fun 5 speed to drive as a daily. Def most regrettable sell...

All the cars are historic. First and last cars produced. 1st "R" Model made.. Tons of racing history along with the 289 Cobra. Next time I go out to the west coast to see him I am taking the Lamborghini out.. :player:
