$5.32 a US Gal this morning.
Interesting how we are the largest_by_far exporter of gas to the US and theirs is still cheaper...
-
I noticed Florida OJ is cheaper in the northeast than in Florida, go figure. :P

I believe the fuel tax at the pump is much higher in Canada

It's all bullshit. Think of how much higher diesel is and remember that diesel requires less refinement than gasoline. Where there's a dollar to be made...
I'll also mention FWIW that as a teenager I worked for a welder and spent my days out in the oilfields of Nevada. Railroad Valley primarily. I lost track early on how many 'dry hole' markers we put up, but it was alot. Now, as I understand it their entire drilling operation at that spot (that turned up nothing) was a write off...where does that money come from....?

Taxes taxes taxes......... ...
Wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't mismanage my money so poorly!
Gotta pay for those crazy MP pensions and severance packages some how..........
-
Well I guess you could run for one of the local positions and after six years collect a pension?
Oh tax free too.
Industry needs to get in line with the way governments work and give employee's pensions after six years too . . .
