IHADAV8 Playground / Last race of the year

Drove 2.5 hours to Western Speed way it's 386' on the straight away of the local roundy round track.
Had a lot of fun had to run it their pro bracket lol. Little street car laid waste to a super charged challenger "my traction control was giving me grief" lined up again same result Hahahaha

The Regal had a twice the motor I did and he got me by a 10th was a really good race.

Seeing if there is any interest here, freshly updated by Bob new gold plated connectors and a clean bill of health. Extender G chip for 60s adapter cable for Z06 card MAF and cable for logging with TunerPro. I would like to get $250.00 for the whole package,
I'm leaning towards the SD2 chip now that I have a powerlogger, the Genll has timing and fueling control with the G chip wide band correction also.

Had a good day of qualifying ran 2 passes in 7.6s and one 7.42 I only got one clean log did not see any knock. Best 60' was a 1.75 racing on the street is a riot!

General Auto Tech / powerlogging!

so I got it all set up there are a couple things in these logs that have me confused is there really 24.7 degrees of timing in this chip thats what it shows WOT in third.
The chip is programed to lock the converter at 85 I have a switch on brake switch to stop it from doing so could it be affecting the 3rd gear signal from the trans? the chip is burnt for 23/25 a boat load of timing

I know its fat but my gauge shows 10.5 not the low tens the log shows.

I realize some will not like it as much but it's still a very nice car my buddy just finished doing the swap for the owner it's a NA 6L LY6 turbo 350 and a GN 8.5
Ryan does really nice work and this is the 4th LS conversion he has done.
My only problem is they are all have carbs no EFI 😆

The little bastard was in the house eating cat food.
I miss the big dog our little Pom-Chee got me out of bed at 4am she is brain less and fearless put the run on it 4 times her size could have been ugly.

So had the car out testing the new seats got on it a bit when I was cruising back home noticed it was really lean and stumbling coming to a stop symptoms of a large vacuum leak drove  home popped the hood and grabbed my stethoscope nothing obvious hmmm did a smoke test still nothing swapped the pcv no change. Compression test 5 at 150 # 5 at 135 that might account for the boost flutter. When you fire it up cold it fat idles good until it gets to temp then lean and rough. Tried another narrow band no change the part that really confused me is that there is very little change in the IAC it's right around 15 TPS is good too. My BLM has climbed from 120 at idle to 129.

So last weekend I hoped in the car and a wire stabbed me in my.......seats are totally pouched.
Went to the bone yard and wandered around looking for something that would not look bad. Found these in a 2001 Nissan Sentra decent color match good shape cheap adjustable seat pan and no more spring stabbing me.

General Buick Tech / Boost/rpm flutter

So what would cause this? It is not as noticeable 1-2 and it feels fine not really noticeable while driving but sure it's slowing me down. This is in 3rd gear my external gate need a rebuild?

Car Stereo and Electronics / Data logging and poor mans Edash

So I log what I can on TunerPro thru my gen ll translator. I wanted to log passes at the track and didn't want a laptop stand. I picked up an Acer Iconia W3-810 8" tablet that runs windows 8 fits in the dash perfect. I configured a little Edash with boost afr and rpm.
Genll does not read knock but I can set me SES light to flash when it sees a preset amount of retard.

Probably work well with a power logger too but I'm not familiar with that software.

So a F body swap how hard is it? I have always loved the TTA and drove past this its really clean. if i lose the AC can I use my ported heads? I have my beat up old T as a donor car a TTA K member and torque arm? its already fuel injected so update the pump?
Is it a pipe dream and a money pit?
