I put the car seats back in the TBSS, and went for a quick spin...

Man, that thing really pulls on the top end, picked up 26.5 mph in the second half. Nice mph for an 11.96 pass.

That's a Procharger for you; more power with more RPM.  But, the 6-rib pulley is holding it back now - got some serious belt slip at the top of third.  Turbos don't slip... hmm.

Exactly right, Brad.  This was only about validating the potential of the truck.  That and I promised myself that it needed to perform at least as well as my Buick did (helps justify the sale), and it has.  So, now I am done racing it - I hope.

Oh, I forgot to mention that this pass was made with the converter locked at 94mph - same switch point as the factory tune.

Thanks, gents!  I may put it up for sale after the wagon is done, if it feels redundant to own it.

I got rid of the Camaros...cuz it was flat out non stop maintenance... and I couldn't drive everything at once. Most fun I was having was with racing the Buick and hanging out with friends at the track. I don't regret selling them.

Mike...you'll likely get to the point I did...and decide on one.

Same reason my Buick and Natasha's Camaro went bye-bye this year.  Probably going to roll the "new" Monte into the garage this Winter to start tooling around with it.
