Where was this? Who's shop? I saw the red hone machine. Sunnen? We had more than 20 of those out at the AF base plus a dozen Lista cabinets full of misc to go with them.

Richard's shop was definitely the highlight and made the trip worthwhile.
Evenings at the hotel(nice) were fun, much beer consumed. :atbeer:
Racing does not compare to BPG. BPG tailgate antics are without equal. :atbeer: :atbeer: :atbeer:

RCs shop sucks !!! What good is it to see what you have ??? I like to spend 2 days looking for that one part I know is on the shelve somewhere.  :rofl: Ok how many cars were there ?? Didn't look like many at the track ?? Ya have to give an attaboy to Shane trying to get this off the ground. I won FREE tickets but couldn't make it  :icon_redface:

You would be surprised how organized RC is.
He knows where almost everything is.
He has 11 trailers out back full of parts and he
Knows where every part he stored is located.
He has some incredibly rare parts on those shelves
I'd love to see in the missle plant.

Thanks for posting the pics Dave.

ya 1 of 4.. Last Shelby made in 66 #2378.. It was Shelby's wifes car.  Cali car with 25k on it..  I drove it for one summer.. Bought it in 1974 or 75. Bought the 427 Cobra in 1976. Matter of fact it was 36 years ago today that I bought it. Day before Melissa was born . Damm years fly by !! I was a punk ass kid then !! Now just an old buzzard  :rock:

So you own Shelby's personal favorite that he was going to give his wife, but it got sold while he was out of the country?

Wise investment, Grumpy!

A rep for Shelby's company Carroll Shelby International says Shelby died today at a Dallas hospital. He had received a heart transplant in 1990 and a kidney transplant in 1996.

Well to me the Blue and Green ones are worth the most being that they are the original cars.. Blue is usually the color Shelby guys wanted.  I missed buying the green car by 2 weeks way back in the "day".. My car was Shelby's wife "driver". (have conformation from Shelby) . It was sold when he was out of the country. Car has been stashed away since 1974 or 75!! Drove it for one summer.  Cali car with 25k on it.  Buick guys have scene it with pics of our Buick fleet.  :cool;
