Pypes exhaust is on. Sounds almost the same as the RJC system but with mufflers in front of the axle instead of behind it. Pulled the scanmaster G to send back to Bob. I have never been able to pair it with my laptop, screen has gone dim, shows the radiator fan all the time and has about 1500 logs that can't be downloaded or cleared from the power logger console. Temporarily installed my old scan master and it still works like a champ.


Now that I have the boost under control I made a few tests runs at 14 psi. Had the afr set at 10.7, chip was pulling over 12% and WB was at 10.1. Hmmm. Tune it? Turn down alky? Turn up boost?


I think I'll turn up the boost and tune from there. I'm wanting to tune it around 17-18 for street driving. Save that tune and then turn up the wick to 23-24 for the strip and then save that tune. It's nice having that capability without having to purchase another chip.


RJC exhaust anyone?

I wished my T-Top car weighed that!  Then people wouldn't keep saying how slow my 4050 lb car is.  My other car is really light in comparison.  It went 12.3 basically stock compared to 12.7 in the other car.

Off for seven days. Supposed to be in the 20's with a chance of some flurries on Friday. Have a fire going in the stove in the barn. The to do list:


Install line lock. Bleed brakes and test.
Remove the stock upper bushings from the diff and install the new poly bushings. Got the neat tool so hoping to not have to beat them out.
Clean up the intake pipe and route the filter behind the driver side headlight.


I'm sure something will steer me away while all this is in progress. Like trying to remember where I left my tools at and keeping the fire going as well as the honey do's

Line lock is installed and functioning. Put it in front of the prop valve. Get the brake light when the lock is energized but after releasing the lock the light goes out. I've read of folks installing it after the prop valve and folks installing it before the prop valve. I haven't read of any folks destroying the prop valve with the lock installed before the prop valve. They just get the brake light illuminated when using the lock.


I took a 12 inch brake line and bent it for installation , cut it to length and made a double flare. Nothing to it. I have one of the mounting tabs for the solenoid on the bolt for the wiper fluid tank and drilled a hole in the power steering tank bracket for the other mounting tab. Bent the original brake line to reach the solenoid and then put a couple of zip ties to keep the two lines from rubbing. 


For the moment, I have the switch laying in the ashtray.

Fwiw - I have a momentary button inline with mine. It's more of a safety item. I turn the switch on and hold the button for the line lock. That way bad things don't happen if someone plays with the switch.

I only used a momentary button switch. Have to hold the button to activate the solenoid. Here's how I wired it up.

Changed the upper bushings in the rear diff housing. Love this little tool. If anyone would like to borrow it, just say the word and I'll box it up and ship it out
