A/C, Heating and Cooling / Re: A/C wiring question
« on: January 11 2011, 07:34:26 PM »
That would depend upon where the two right side wires went to?   :question;

Assuming one is the A/C switch and the other was for the cooling fan,  then yes the third connection at the splice would go directly to ground.

I'm assuming on the locations all those wires go to however,  all I see in the pic. is a splice and 3 black wires.

According to what I see in the manual it went all the way back to one of the grounds behind the pass. side head.

G120.

The factory sometimes put the rear drain tubes for the sunroof down the wheelwell so they empty into the trunk.   :finga:

And of course when you took the car back to the dealer they were just as clueless to the problem.  :psix;

Of course after you start dumping the water into the body you better make sure the drain hole is big enough and clear so ALL the water gets out.

The original tires,  Eagle GT's could make the posi. rear end clutches go clink clink clink around tight parking lot corners regardless of how much Kenne Bell green limited slip differential magic fluid and GM bottles of additive you tossed in it.

Upon replacing the worn out crap stock tires at 18K miles,  (rears go first for some reason),  with Dunlop D40 M2's in 235/60/15 size the noises magically went away.

That's my story from the old days.   :psix;

Russell makes that rear hose in braided steel teflon line.

I've only seen it available as part of a 3 hose kit that includes the two front rubber hose lines in braided stainless teflon as well.

About $80 for all 3.

Jegs, Summitt etc.
