Title: Wipers catching bottom of windshield
Post by: xpander343 on September 06 2019, 01:13:25 PM
hey guys

The passenger side wiper blade is catching on the metal shield at the bottom of the windshield.  It only does it when the blades are parking.  It looks like the metal panel is not sitting as tight against the windshield as it should.  The windshield was replaced probably 10 years ago, and I don’t think Its driven in the rain since.  Are there some clips missing? Or does it need to come off and be gently bent to adjust it?

given that, which is not good, I would remove the arm and re position it one notch and see if that fixes it.

Thanks guys.  I took the panel off, gave it a small bend, works good now.  Wiper doesn’t pop off everytime it tries to park.

Remove them. Less weight is free HP.
