I have a pair of old 12" SHIVAs in a sealed box ( from a bass list group buy). So far I haven't needed the bridged Haflers to drive them, the Technics (2.1 only )has proved adequate.
And my homemade TL's with their liquid smooth peerless cloth dome.
Suppose I need to get a center channel as I hate they way the engineers mix the channels now-a-days.

Is there a way to test to see if the red thing(or what ever sends the handshake) is sending the signal out? Do you have a way to simulate the signal to  see if the receiving means is seeing something?
This is why people have multiple of whatever the hobby is. Trouble shooting with known working pieces is way easier than swinging in the dark.
