Where is the POA valve located in the 87 TR? I think mine is malfunctioning or clogged.

They stopped using POA valves in the mid 70's. Do you mean expansion valve/orifice tube?

I have been fortunate with mine but both have been sitting for a long time without using the AC.  I bet I need one of those tools!  that's neat!

Also, I suspect any of our cars would benefit from a new condenser.  If the condenser does not pull the heat out of the freon, it ain't gonna cool very well
