Torque converter bolts are in - what a pain in the ass. LS1 flywheel to sbc torque converter makes it so you have 1 spot that you to feed the bolt thru the flex plate into the converter. They included 4 shims with the bolts each .020 thick the first one went smooth but the other 2 fought all the way. Using the resources I had, a nylon rope was sacrificed. I used strains from the rope rope to tie the shims/washers together. It's done but I was struggling today.
Driveshaft seems short, but I have almost 1-1/4" slip. With the yoke in the trans, there is some play, I know my other one did too. I think its one of those things that always bothers me, I cringe look away and forget about it. I'm just hoping it doesn't have any driveline vibrations.
