Title: 1 for the Racers
Post by: kma697 on December 10 2006, 12:27:41 AM: How much et did you drop when going from street tires to drag radials or slicks???? Thinking about getting some drag radials but I know my stock tranny and rear end may not be up to the task for very long :sad;

Typically people drop around 4 tenths or more...

That was on BFG DRs....I would recommend the Mickey Thompsons. FWIW

As far as slicks go, I'd rather break traction than an axle. Relube it first. Hell, I'd get a driveshaft loop too.
