Looking for a decent TE wastegate actuator and the wire loom that mounts to the front cover studs and holds up the alternator wire between the alt and battery.
-
If you know who Mike McCoy is, he probably has that wire loom.
-
If you have one of the HD actuators, you can fab a bracket to fit the TE housing. I've seen a few guys run the HD actuator where they have drilled a new hole to locate the actuator on the housing and only secure it with a single bolt. With your fab skills, I'm sure you could easily make a bracket and weld it on.
As for that plastic loom, I'll see if my local treasure yard has one. It'll be a few days, we have another winter blast coming through tonight

thanks guys, unforunately I dont know why Mike McCoy is, I also dont have an HD actuator (only the stock one).
I could use a catalyst hanger also if the treasure trove is that good for g-body stuff. (thanks a ton in advance either way)

You can fab up the HD actuator you have. Just make sure it has a straight pull to the arm on the DP...and doesn't bind.

He parts out TRs, and usually has just about anything.

I dont have one at all...

How much boost are you wanting to run?
-
25-28psi... let me re-phrase: I dont have ANY actuator.

You're gonna need an HD. I'll see what I have laying around. Post back this evening with pics

Found what your looking for and I have two actuators. One is bone stock and the other is adjustable. Neither are what your after. I was able to get 20 psi out of the adjustable one but you're wanting to push more than that.
No clue on what the value is on the altenator wire loom. Maybe someone else knows
-
are those actuators for a TE? I might take the adjustable one just to get running before I'm ready to turn up the boost.
I'm definitely into buying that wire loom, let me know what's fair and I'll paypal you.

As far as I know, any actuator for a TB will work for a T housing. I believe the difference is in the clock position that the actuator is mounted to the compressor housing due to the compressor housings being different sizes. That's where vendors have come up with brackets that they weld to TB actuators and then market them as a "TE actuator" or "S housing actuator." That's where your fab skills come into play. Simply purchase an HD actuator and make a bracket to mount the actuator to your turbo at your desired position.

Yeah I saw that somewhere... I dont really want to weld on it though.
