It depends on  who potential Female VP's align with and support. My guess, who ever Trump or Desantis picks will determine who wins the primary and who is the next president. My pick is Haley, Noem or Stefanik. The others like Lake, Palin or Greene are good for the talk show circuit.

Republicans/Conservatives always have bad timing and shoot themselves in the foot. We could have had a landslide if the Supreme held off until after the elections on Roe v Wade. It's going to happen again when Trump announces he's running in 2024 in a few days. This will sink all the chances of the Walker's runoff in Georgia and dumping Murkowski.in AK. and any other local, state and federal runoffs left around the country. All we can hope for is Biden and his crew have bigger fu*kups.

Here in the states it's a close 50/50 split and independents/centralist usually make the final vote go either way. You can't have the fringed crazies take center stage and try to lead  the causes. I hope AOC keeps up the good work and  Musk, West and others don't follow the same plan.  People like Desantis, Noem, Zeldin, Haley and a few others should take the lead and speak common sense.

Just dont want to be in the same boat as the left has with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or the squad  at the helm.
The cast of characters who are showing up as the spokespersons for the right are not much better.
Cant wait for Roaeanne Barr to run for president.

Now all we need is Britney Spears to take over CNN.   I think we need better people to head our cause.

I'm going by memory that is shot.  Back around 1990-91 GM offered a radio repair kit called a Grimlet kit (spelling?), It was a bag of jumper wires to bypass the printed circuit solder runs on the board in the radio.  I took my radio the the local auto radio repair shop for the fix.  It fixed the issue your having and also stations dropping out.

The belt tensioners have been discontinued for quite a long time. Only thing available are the reproduction units as listed above from China. They work fine. I'm 99% sure if Rockauto has them its the same reboxed/relabeled as everyone else sells.  Look for the best price plus shipping and a vendor with good feedback like Rockauto or some of the Buick vendors

I agree with everything Steve said. I would only add, pull the cam sensor and prime the pump and get some oil pressure up before you start the motor. It's a must do, if the motor will lay dormant for months

If you need a in/lb torque wrench for other projects then buy it. But just to install valve covers then save your money. Use a stubby 1/4" ratchet or nut driver handle and make them snug. It's hard to over-tighten unless you have gorilla hands. Also in/lb torque wrenches are very inaccurate unless you buy a good one, that will cost more than your timing gear set.,

Melling timing set 3-359SB
Melling tensioner   BD44
Melling cam button CB100

As for gaskets a clean surface and true no bends any gasket will work if not over torqued.  I used both types without issues

I like and always used OTC or Lisle brand pullers/installers. For limited use, I guess the cheaper Harbor Freight stuff will work
