So I came across this post somwhere else warning everyone to stay away from Dollar General motor oil  Which kind of inspred me to take a look.

DG SAE 10W-30 is actually SF rated with lots of zinc and should work great with Flat tappet cams

So they thought people shopping at the dg were driving new cars?

Looks like just the stuff I need for my ancient fleet of vehicles.

That is awesome... a perfect break-in oil that doesn't cost more than synthetic!

Not as much zinc as I would have expected  SF's should be 1600 or so.

But on another note a class actions suit is the most evil thing ever.  Those who were/are a part of the affected class will get pennies the lawyers will get rich.

I agree Class Action Lawsuit because people don't read the Label is Stupid & shouldn't be allowed. Most people buying oil don't just change their Oil they do all kinds of maintenance so they should be aware of what they are buying for their vehicles from oil & fuel filters to brake parts. The majority of people go get it done at a shop so they have no part of this lawsuit yet I bet there will be a few thousand of their names listed for payment.


IMO far to many lawsuits in the USA.

Use key strokes you will have to google it. Control key and c and control key and v. Maybe. Have to highlight the characters you want to copy or cut.
