I shall be vacationing in Sedona, AZ and will be unable to attend.
Dammit, I knew you were one of those post-modern neo-hippie types!

Is that where the "Burning Man" festival is ?

I like to question everything including the WTC thing. But I don't
believe the Israelis would be behind it. There are many others far
more deserving of suspicion.

I lived in Saco for a few weeks many years ago. One night, I got pulled over for expired tags. Then the cop found out my insurance was expired as well. He said just to park the car and he'd give me a ride home. Funny how, even after a 5 mile ride with me in the back telling him that he could never catch my car...he never showed any sign of realizing how shitfaced I was. lol I just realized that's not even my best 'pulled over in Saco' story.

He may have realized that you were shitfaced, but gave you a break instead by not ruining your record and doing the responsible thing by giving you a ride home.

I haven't read any books lately. Mostly legal documents, contracts etc...

Alexander Maine, and Calais -I lived there too- are so far east that around there even Rob would look like Wyatt Earp. In fact, the next time you hear the Metallica song "So What" and Hetfield barks out the line, "...I've been to Eastport, too." know that Sylvan has spent a few weeks in Eastport.

That is the first time that I've heard that theory.

I have read about a few brake upgrades that can be done inexpensively.
One is to use the steering knuckles and brake rotors from a Chevy Caprice. Using the knuckles is key because they improve the suspension geometry and also allow
you to use the larger Caprice rotors. The other is to get calipers for a Chevy S-10 (SS or X-treme) with the ZQ8 suspension package. They supposedly used a dual piston caliper. You may have to use the s-10 hoses as well. Aftermarket braided stainless are best. Use D.O.T. 4 brake fluid on the brake side of the master only, if using a powermaster. Do not use D.O.T. 5 under any circumstance as it will aerate in the event you are able to get it hot enough to boil.

IHADAV8 Playground / Re: I Will Never Buy Fireworks Again

If I set off big stuff (other than bottle rockets and Saturn Missiles), I usually go to the local sand pit. I bury the mortars in the sand so that the fireworks only have one direction to go and there isn't a fire hazard that way. Remember: most stuff made in China is cheap. China doesn't have any liability.

You should also write a letter to General Motors. Include a copy of the ad you received.
Express to them your distaste for the treatment/service you had received, and that you
will no longer buy another General Motors product. You probably won't get them to
honor the advertisement, but they will bust some heads at that dealership. You could
also file a complaint with your State Attorney Generals office about deceptive business
practice.

I've had a lot of stuff going on in the past few years. And this is the only Buick Board that I've spent any time on. With the exception of a timing chain post on TBS.

If I wrote a book of inane ramblings that was hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pages long one fucking sentence would actually coincide with something every so often too.

Yeah, probably. I was suprised that they used the word office. I didn't think of that as a term used then. And its more than one sentence. nearly the whole section is applicable.
