I had a 8 track tape suitcase that had (I think) 30 tapes in it.  I loaned it to a friend going on a road trip to use in his new 1970 W30 442 with a factory 8 track.  He never made it out of NY and got rear ended by a oil truck. Totaled the car and my tapes in the trunk.    Lucky for him he walked away without a scratch.

They stopped using POA valves in the mid 70's. Do you mean expansion valve/orifice tube?

John's Performance sold a lot of cool stuff. I got a few stainless flexible turbo oil return lines from them. He used to be in Oregon or Wash. State.   Any place that sells truck parts or good speed shop can make them up if you show them the ends you need.

Money and parts are his biggest roadblocks.  Trying to run a stage motor only drawback is keeping up a supply of parts. That can almost  be impossible on 35 year old motors less the TA blocks.  A friend of mine runs Promod  and uses Pat Musi  motors. He goes through 2 or 3 a year at $175K each but they are readily available with unlimited setups. I think Dave will be limited to a very few outings a year.

Thanks Steve, That was a typo.  Fingers and brain need a alignment.   Also back in the 1930's they had Civilian Conservation Corps paid by the Govt to build roads, parks and military bases. They also backed up the forest services. My uncle was part of it up to WW2 then got drafted. Lots of ways to use govt/tax money other then unconditional free handouts.

Putting them and others out of work on WPA projects would be a better idea.  Maybe cheaper and more results that can be seen.

Here's a recent example. Gov Abbott buses thousands of  illegals to NYC.  The local govt here feeds them, puts them in hotels and buys them all a new clothes and they all get free Ipads.. The State sets them up with public assistance and Snap plus a $1000 money card. A family of 4 would get $800 a month for snap and $1100 a month public assistance card.  They all qualify for free sec 8 housing. Now Schumer wants to fast track citizenship for 11 million of them. So who do you think they will vote for? Also just before the midterm elections our gov Hochul  added  a 40% increase across the board for Snap and a extra $100 lump sum payments the last week of the month just in case you spent all your free money.

Ford was VP at the time Nixon resigned. He was appointed when then VP Agnew resigned. He wasn't chosen to become president to circumvent the system

Not sure where you guys are getting your info from but it's a simple line of succession.
Biden dies or removed then, Harris is next. If she falls under the same as Biden's fate then speaker of the house will take over.  If we are in a war or something catastrophic like hit by a asteroid, the house and senate can vote and call for a special election for a temp “from congress or executive branch” to fill in and not someone from state government.

Now let's find Dan Strenzo and Joe Lubrant. I think Joe has the record for comebacks.
