ahhhh Robie Ford in Dorchesta.  :icon_lol: This was around 1968. I took my parents there looking at a new 68 Mustang . Robie was doing a lot of "custom dealer  swaps". I wanted a 427 with other goodies $$$$. Man was I hallucinating. :chin: Ended up with a fastback 302 with a 4 speed. Then went back to school in Fl.

NOW while my father and I were doing the order form for the 427 my mother was walking around the showroom . She came back talking about a cute red car in the show room. Yup the 427 Cobra. To bad it's a stick. She had a new Lincoln at that time. We still talk about that car today.  She is 93 now. Thanks for posting the pic. She will get a kick out of it.
Had the Cobra bug for years. Bought one in 1976 the day before Melissa was born (of course thats another story for another day). Sold it in 1980 to build our house. Then bought a new CSX Cobra that Shelby came out with in 2015 after selling our 66 GT 350. Now after having it for 6 years I am thinking of something else. Have no idea what I want now.

God does time fly by  :(

I remember those days well.  Yesterday, I don't remember quite so well :D

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.
