Getting stuff sorted out. car really hammers shifts. I have adjusted the TV cable as should be ( pull al the way back, floor car and let it self adjust) I think its to tight causing hard shifting. I compaired to other car and its way tighter. also unclipped from TB piviot and pulled each out by hand, good car has far less tension on cable. Was going to try loosening up cable to see if problem gets better. I know I dont want it to loose but now the car shifts like a sledge hammer.
Im guessing if car shifts correctly and downshifts correctly running it looser isnt a problem as long as its working properly?

pull it toward the firewall a notch and see if that helps. Firm shift points under load and normal shift points under light throttle are two of the things I look for.

nvm

I went towards firewall and they stayed firm, went towards pivot and they smoothed out....shifts very much like other car now
