theres a couple of shitty tr vendors. but as stated its bc of vendor protection they dance around issues. i wonder when ppl pay for tb.com new private access will they become protected against a shitty vendor? that would be more than interesting to see   i have found hartline to be a solid vendor so i stick w them. like i told a vendor over there ill buy a whole car b4 i buy that same $5 part from them. i am shocked how those vendors stay in business. when i saw world of motor works donating to nastys car i thought to myself good luck on free parts bc he doesn't ship parts that were paid for lollol. Champion is actually becoming a shitty vendor. still waiting for parts since october! he sent heads b4 sending rockers and studs, things that would be stockable.  :021:  agh soon ill be done w build and can bitch next year about the same assholes and hopefully not new ones.

here is what bugs me about this. I like brian a lot as a person. to ME he's never stuck me. I've been a customer since day one. I've been dealing with him for a long time. I had one issue with his work but.. he did make good for it right away.  though that was around the time with NW's car. but, after talking to clay via fb it just gets me sick to my stomach and I cant even think about using him. and believe me.. theres parts he has that I want... bad. but, as someone said a long time ago.. this is a very small community..

I don't want to sound like a dick and go against everyone. But I never read into any of the vendors and Gbodyparts has treated me very well and I never pay any duty charges. I've spent well over 1500 with them and all the parts and service has been above average. I did see that thread about the burnt down GN and that sucks some serious ass....

Well, I decided not to buy from Gbodyparts.com .  The story goes like this:  I got a complete posi rear end from Brian about a year ago.  I basically traded it for my original rear, the new posi that I had gotten and some other parts.  He pretty much made out in the trade, but no problem since I got my posi rear.  He said it was newly rebuilt.  Well, I installed it and the seals leaked, real bad and ruined the brake shoes.  I took the rear apart to change the axle seals and low and behold, the entire rear wasn't just pooched, it was pure trash.  The posi diff's gears were worn and splintering badly.  The axles were literally twisted at the splines.  I had to cut the diff pin and C-Clips out.  So, now I have to rebuild the entire rear which I have never done before.  I'll figure it out though.

I bought all the parts from other venders like Autoplicity and saved over 80 bucks then if I would have bought them from Gbody.  I'm beginning to think that TRUST is a thing of the past.

Good luck guys in finding your parts.  I'll post where I find my parts from.

And then there is Brian's highly defensive response:

I sincerely hope this helps some guys out who are having issues.

sorry it happened to you, Bob.  He has been notorious for pulling such stunts for many years now.  He is a perfect example of someone that would not be in business if it were not for his sins being buried by the board
