Why not run 17 on the street with straight 93?  It's a bit hard to dial down the alky and keep from being overly rich at 18-20 in my experience.

No need for any mixing with 100 if spraying meth.

oops, I forgot about the three people that always post they run 20 on straight 93  :D

Thought an in car controller would be easiest...

It is.  It just comes with a cost.  I am the LAST person who should tell anyone not to buy that cool-guy part because you want it.  If it makes you happy: do it!

I really like the MAF Tuner Pro boost control function.  I can set it to ramp in as I desire and can have two boost settings for high/low gears.  However, I have had little need to adjust it after I got it set properly... but, setting it up was made pretty easy from the driver's seat.

I can run 20 on straight 94 with the stock turbo on my low milage car and ran 22 with the TE-44.  But I can't get that high with the CPT-66.  :(   I think I need a really big pump! :icon_lol:

No...the 66 just flows a lot cooler air at the level so the charge is much more dense.  It ain't the boost, it is how many air molecules it can squeeze into the cylinder which is a function of density :)

I've got the IQ of a house plant...so I have no choice but to adjust the boost on my car with the actuator rod.

Speaking of dense, where has Zap been?

Absolutely, Steve!  The 4.1 car ran an 11.8@116 smoking the tires off the line and losing cylinder 5 right after the 1/8 mile on straight pump gas without the converter locked, with 18' of timing.  Should be low 11's capable on pump gas.

Tim seems to disappeared for good this time.  He made one post on FB awhile back but he has not answered any emails or told me I was an idiot in a long time.

Well I hope HE's writing a sequel. Maybe Supersix can call him again?

so, when you get to 23, you don't need a boost controller any more because who changes the boost a couple of pounds and retunes the car?  I would set it at 24-25 which will probably be close to what the chip is expecting and Fugettaboutit :D

Years ago Dan was out with some broad in his GN. He had the boost controller in the console. He could dial it up or down for whatever boost pressure he wanted. He gets out of the car to get coffees...and unknown to him she starts playing around with the boost controller in the console. Later on in the evening he gets into a stop lite race. You guessed it...the boost was wide open...and out come the head gaslets.

One of the State Troopers and his brother were over the other day and wanted to sight in a rifle.  Seems the brother's wife picked up the gun and asked what the knobs on the scope were for as she was twisting them....

Head Gaslets - an accurate description indeed
