Pypes exhaust
« on: June 11 2011, 03:40:43 PM »
While some of you slept-in on Saturday I drove to Buffalo and picked
up the Pypes exhaust.

For those that haven't seen:
Nicely packed in bubble wrap, looks fairly complete.

Nice Dave. I was gonna go this way until a local TB.com member gave me enough 3" tubing to make my own single shot. :supz:

I suck at welding. I did a fence with my wire feed flux core but I'm surprised it stays up. I now have the gas kit to upgrade.

The thing people fail to realize: The border customs and immigration (on both sides) have
far far more power than any police or in some situations military.
You don't want to F**** with them.
I declare and pay my fed and prov taxes. We have 2 guys local who are blacklisted for getting creative and get strip searched each crossing.

No Thanks

Sorry, missed that.
Summit seems best priced, no oversize charges.

Sound? - Street Pro is very close to stock, maybe a tad louder.
Probably not what most of you want but I'm pleased.

MUST buy SS step clamps - pipes a tad too short, hopeless w supplied clamps.

Positioning and patience are everything when installing a new exhaust.  Normally, I have had to trim rather than being too short.  I think it tends to work itself out if you get the tail pipes where you want them and work forward rather than starting at the cat end and going backwards....

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

Not much room to move anything, tails are rigidly attached, cat is where the cat as.
