Just more evidence that the Buick community is going down the shitter rapidly.

......sounds serious, too.

I don't get it.

Why would someone from FL have a guy in AZ do all the work on the car?

Because he's got a reputation for being THAT good. Robert's from Boloxi and he just got his engine back from them.

You would think a good engine shop could build these motors. I preferr to have a local shop work on my motor. A mustang guy will build my next motor.

But there is no need to send your car that far to swap a turbo and trans. Unless you have sick $$ and don't know shit about cars.

I never realized that there were concerns with Mike by the folks at tbs (in regards to the replies).

Everything seems fine with my engine.

Aint got it in yet.

I can tell you one thing, AFTER I researched the engine builders I was told about several posts that were deleted to cover Nicks ass. I'm a (very little) worried. But time will tell.
Save the bumper fillers!
Move to Canadia!

I'd rather send the car off to someone else that has had experience with these cars before I let someone that may not be familiar with the idiosyncrasies of a Turbo Regal touch it.

I have had just about everything done to my car by someone else, I have turned very little wrenches on my own car.  I just don't have the time (even when I'm in the same zip code as the car itself).

Don't get me wrong, I would love to work on my own car, but time and geography won't let me.  In the interim I scour the internet for information, ideas, and tech articles to store away for future use.

Some guy named EightEscV6 says:

"Nick is at the BPG Nationals in Salem, Ohio. He has an excellent reputation, give him a chance before dragging him through the mud on the boards."

So, we should give him a chance to reply by Monday or so. If not, we'll see.

Going back to a question that I asked a long time ago, why would Bruce Toelle loan out his best master at arms (Nick Micale) to another board that was owned by a ex moderator of turbobuick.com . (Elvis)

I was just over at t6p and what question clicked in my head was why is Tb.kom still advertising over there?
