Title: Fuel tank vent line
Post by: TurboCajun on January 22 2018, 10:19:01 AM
I will installing new racetronix fuel line, I was wondering what to do with the vent line, do I need to keep it running to the front or can I just run it to the rear of the car, the canister has been removed for years.

Don't see any reason it cannot go to the rear

Just make sure to put some sort of filter or screen on the line to keep out bugs and debris.

And maybe a few loops to act as a water trap.   Keep in mine as the tank drains, it's going to pull several cubic feet of replacement air.  Any moisture on a short line will make it's way into the tank.
